Unknown man has murdered a 27 year-old man in Dedza by cutting his neck over charcoal disagreements.
The incident happened in Mchira Village Traditional Authority Kaphuka in the District.
Group Village Headman Mchira, has identified the deceased man as Tilope Ziyendam’anja who went with the suspect to Chongoni forest to collect their processed charcoal for selling.
When the two arrived, the deceased person managed to pack five bags of charcoal than his friend and this brought anger to suspect who end up cutting his friend’s neck using an axe.
Ziyendam’manja died due to external and internal bleeding after a cut on the neck by sharp object.
The suspect bolted immediately after committing the offense.
