One person has died in a road accident after falling off a moving lorry along the Mchinji-Lilongwe M12 road.
Spokesperson for Mchinji Police Limbani Mpinganjira has identified the deceased person as Wilfully Muyira who was traveling in a motor vehicle Fuso Fighter lorry registration number CP10231, together with his CCAP choir members on board going for a music album launch in the bolder district.
Mpinganjira said upon reaching PCC junction, the vehicle hit a hump where three passengers fell off the vehicle and sustained injuries.
Those who were wounded, were taken to Mchinji District Hospital where Muyira aged 39 was pronounced dead upon arrival due to severe head injuries.
