Malawians are still struggling to purchase maize in various Agricultural Development and Marketing Corporation (ADMARC) deports in the country.

For example in Nsanje, some ADMARC depots like Mbenje, Mankhokwe and Zonde are always overcrowded as people are scramble to purchase maize following rumors that some bags of maize were sold to unknown vendors during the weekend thereby reducing chances of poor people buy maize.

There have been several concerns toward ADMARC deports in various districts in the country as some people are blaming deport maize grains seller for not considering buyers as they do not start selling it in time.

Currently, some local traders in various districts have reduced prices of a 50 kilogram bag of maize from K38,000 to K35,000 as hunger is still whipping Malawians.
