My Bucks renamed to Centenary Bank Limited as Catholic Church finally acquires the bank

My Bucks Banking Corporation has changed its name to Centenary Bank Limited, faceofmalawi can reveal.
The move follows a move by Catholic Archdiocese of Lilongwe and Centenary Rural Development Group of Uganda to finalize the procurement of the bank.
The new shareholders have also fully recapitalized the bank as required by the Registrar of Banking Institutions in Malawi.
“(They)…have satisfied all the conditions for the acquisition of 100% shareholding in MyBucks Banking Corporation Limited….Further, the Registrar of Banking Institutions has approved the change of name of the bank to Centenary Bank Limited…,” reads part of the public statement made available to faceofmalawi.
