Police in the district of Rumphi, Malawi are currently on the hunt for a man identified only as Levison Phiri, who is suspected to have brutally murdered 13-year-old Idah Ng’ambi.
According to reports, the incident took place on March 23, 2023, at Chijana Village under Traditional Authority Jalavikuba in Mzimba.
The motive behind the killing remains unknown at this point, but authorities have launched a manhunt for Phiri, who is believed to be on the run.
The police have urged anyone with information on Phiri’s whereabouts to come forward and assist in his apprehension.
