A 32-year-old woman of Kitwe has allegedly been r@ped repeatedly by a man she interacted with during a drink-up in Buchi Township, Kitwe, on Friday night.
Copperbelt Province police commanding officer Peacewell Mweemba said in a statement that the r@pe happened between 02:00 hours and 03:00 hours on Saturday on Mindola road in Nkana West.
The alleged r@pist has been identified as Rodgers Chama, 32, of First Street, flat No. 25, Nkana West Township.
The victim sustained bruises on her left arm and leg, pain on her private parts.
