Parliamentary Cluster on Agriculture and Natural Resources has recommended for government to give Agricultural Development and Marketing Cooperation (ADMARC) 123 billion kwacha to turn around the struggling institution.

This comes as the cluster presented report in parliament on its findings to improve ADMARC.

Deputy Chairperson for the cluster Ulemu Chilapondwa, has said that ministry of finance should consider giving ADMARC additional funds so that it help in achieving food security.

According to Chilapondwa the committee has also emphasized on limiting only ADMARC to be buying maize while NFRA should be storing as required.
