One of the country’s political expert has criticized some budget allocations passed in parliament that are not inspiring to improve people’s living standards.
This comes as the house continue committee of supply scrutinizing budgets allocation vote by vote.
George Phiri one of the country’s political experts said there are huge funds allocated to some votes such as state House rehabilitation which may not assist citizenry.
He has described the budget as not developmental but is consumption as it does not invest in activities that can generate more financial resources for the country to benefit the poor
According to Phiri government should prioritize allocating enough resources to sectors which are failing to properly execute their operations.
