Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that a police officer based at Chisenga Police Unit in Chitipa district has hanged himself to death.
The body of Lenford Ngomba was found hanging dead in his house on Thursday afternoon.
Chitipa Police Station Officer, Leonard Chipa has confirmed of the development in an interview, saying Ngomba committed the act after his wife who was pregnant by then developed maternal complications and was rushed to hospital.
Late Ngomba hailed from Lukomo village, in the area of Traditional Authority (T/A) Nthalire in Chitipa district.
