A 19-year-old student from Chinhoyi University of Technology has tragically taken his own life, following accusations of having an affair with a married woman.

Gerald Tadiwanashe Mapurisa was found hanging from a tree on a Norton farm on January 6th, just days before his 20th birthday.

According to reports, the night before he disappeared, Gerald’s affair with a married woman was brought to light.

It is alleged that he may have also been confronted by the woman’s husband. His brother, Gilbert Mapurisa, believes that this revelation may have led to Gerald’s suicide.
