There have been mixed reactions on the issued raised by government through ministry of Homeland to relocate refugees in the country to Dzaleka Camp in Dowa.
Mzuzu Youth Caucus has threatened to mobilize Malawians to relocate refugees and asylum seekers to Dzaleka refugees camp.
This comes as government has set yet another deadline of 15 April 2023 for refugees and asylum seekers to relocate to Dzaleka camp.
According to Chairperson for Mzuzu Youth Caucus Gomezgani Nkhoma they feel betrayed by government as this is second deadline hence taking the step to mobilise Malawians to remove refugees and asylum seekers.
According to Nkhoma they will not allow government’s negligence and incompetence on the matter as it is affecting Malawians to excel economically and socially.
