President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera who is also leader of the Malawi Congress Party (MCP), a party in Tonse Alliance is today celebrating his 68th birthday.
This is the third birthday to celebrate as President since his election in 2020.
Many Malawians especially MCP followers have since taken to social media to wish the President well.
Joel Ndalama Harawa wrote: “Happy birthday Your Excellency Dr Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera the President of the Republic of Malawi.”
Another malawian identified as Peter Makina wrote: “It’s the first citizen’s birthday, let’s join him celebrating it. Happy birthday to the State President Dr Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera.
“May you continue rendering due services to the nation. With you at the helm of state leadership, Malawi is in safe hands.”
