Member of Parliament for Chikwawa West Constituency Suzan Dossi has been elected as new Parliamentary Chairperson for Media and Information.
Dossi replaces Aboo Naliwa of Zomba Nsondole constituency.
During the election held at parliament, Dossi got seven votes against Neno north legislator Thoko Tembo’s five votes.
Dossi has since promised to to work with all relevant stakeholders in ensuring that the country has legislations that effectively protect citizens from human rights violations committed through misuse of digital technologies.
