Linde Motel owner’s son Steven Kamowa has died after a vehicle he was driving was hit by an abnormal load truck at Chinkhoma Trade Centre in Kasungu.
Kasungu police spokesperson, Joseph Kachikho has confirmed of the accident in an interview with the press, saying the accident happened on Sunday night.
According to Kachikho, that the abnormal load truck which was heading to Lilongwe had carried an excavator on its low bed.
He said part of the escavator hit the oncoming Toyota Hilux pickup which was coming from the opposite direction.
Kamowa hailed from Chikuluti village, Traditional Authority Mponela in Dowa.
