The police are still investigating the disappearance of a 13-year-old girl and a 29-year-old man who went missing from the Youthnet and Counselling Safety Home in Rumphi last year.

According to deputy police national spokesperson Harry Namwaza, no one has been arrested in connection to the matter.

The missing individuals have been identified as a 13-year-old girl who was a defilement victim from Mhuju and a 29-year-old man named Happy Simwaka. Simwaka, who had albinism, was said to be fearing for his life after receiving threats from some individuals. Both individuals disappeared from the safe house in November of last year.
