United Transformation Movement (UTM), a party in Tonse Alliance is scheduled to hold its elective conference this year ahead of 2025 Presidential polls.
UTM Publicity Secretary Felix Njawala has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
Njawala told one of the local media houses in the country that that party members are free to contest on various positions of the party saying ‘no individual will be blocked’.
According to Njawala, the mandate of the current leadership is expected to end in September 2023.
Njawala said the party will soon announce the exact date for convention.
Meanwhile, Chilima is yet come on the open as to whether he will contest again as UTM President.
