Mchacha to hold media briefing on Sunday amid infighting in DPP

Estranged Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Regional Governor for the South Charles Mchacha will on Sunday, April 23, 2023 hold a press briefing in Blantyre at Golden Peacock Hotel from 12 noon.
Mchacha is expected among other things highlight some “unprecedented shortfalls” happening in DPP that some people have “normalised them” to be part of governance principles.
Mchacha will be accompanied by several senior DPP members including former Ministers, his fellow MPs, District and Constituency Governors among others.
Mchacha was fired as regional governor for the south last week for unknown reasons but court has reinstated him after obtaining an injunction.
