A married man in Kapiri has pleaded not guilty of cheating on his wife, despite being found in bed with a woman who was their wedding matron.
The incident occurred three months after the couple’s marriage, and just as they were expecting their first child. The man, identified as Chilekwa Allan, 35 years old, was caught red-handed by his wife, Margaret, who had received a tip that he was at her friend’s house.
Upon arrival at the scene, Margaret found her husband and her friend locked in each other’s arms.
The husband, after being caught, fled the scene naked. He later claimed that his car broke down near the matron’s house and the next thing he knew was in bed with her.
