Opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Member of Parliament for Mwanza Central Joyce Chitsulo who is also Chairperson of Public Appointments Committee of Malawi Parliament on Sunday got engaged to her longtime lover Elton Mataka.
The tradition engagement ceremony was held in private with few family members and friends, according to inside sources.
Member of Parliament for Nsanje Lalanje Gladys Ganda confirmed of the development in a shot statement posted on her official facebook page.
“Congratulations Honourable Joyce Chitsulo, Chairperson of Public Appointments Committee of Malawi Parliament for finding a God given partner.
“The Bible says that he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour. Mr Elton Mataka has found a good thing in you. Have faith and believe that God has a way for our destiny. I wish you well throughout your marriage journey,” wrote Ganda.
