62 Learners and 2 Teachers Lose Their Lives Due To Cyclone Freddy

he Ministry of Education has announced that 62 learners and two teachers have lost their lives due to Cyclone Freddy in the country.
According to Mphatso Mkuonera, a spokesperson for the Ministry, out of the 62 learners who lost their lives, 33 were boys and 29 were girls.
In addition to the tragic loss of life, over 7000 learners and 978 teachers have been affected by the cyclone.
The Ministry of Education is providing assistance to those affected, including psycho-social support.
