Former President Edgar Chagwa Lungu has been spotted attending attending the celebrations of the Kenneth Kaunda National Day.
Lungu is accompanied by the former first lady Mama Esther Lungu.
Zambia President Hakainde Hichilema is represented at the event by by the Vice President, W.K Mutale Nalumango.
Kenneth Kaunda ruled Zambia from 1964 to 1991 and died on 17 June, 2021. Then the current President of Zambia Hakainde Hichilema declared April 28 every year as holiday.
Kaunda was born on April 28, 1924.
