A man with albinism in Chiradzulu is nursing deep cuts to his head and body at Thyolo district hospital after being hacked by some unknown assailants last night.

District chairperson for the Association of Persons with Albinism (APAM), Bernard Makanga, alleged that Ajas Salimu, was attacked on his way home.

Salimu was rescued by some community members after he screamed for help.

Law enforcers in the district said they are investigating the matter.
