President Chakwera to Attend Coronation of King Charles III in UK

President Lazarus Chakwera is set to depart from Malawi tomorrow, May 3rd, to attend the coronation of King Charles III and his wife Camilla—the Queen Consort in the United Kingdom.
The coronation ceremony will be held at Westminster Abbey in London on May 6th. A press statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that Chakwera’s attendance is a demonstration of Malawi’s commitment to its special relationship with the United Kingdom and Commonwealth member states.
During his visit, Chakwera will also hold bilateral talks with other world leaders who are expected to attend the coronation.
