A man named Kondwani Moses has been sentenced to four years in prison for stealing car parts. He was convicted by the Liwonde First Grade Magistrate’s court and found guilty of stealing rearview mirrors, car batteries, computer boxes, and other items worth K2,098,000.00 from various people.

This is not the first time that Moses has been in trouble with the law. He had previously served time in custody in 2021. The prosecutor argued that Moses was resistant to change and should not be tolerated in society, which is why he received a stiff punishment.

The Magistrate agreed with the state and sentenced Moses to four years imprisonment with hard labour.

Moses comes from Mtetemera Village in the Balaka District.
