Man arrested for stabbing to death his biological daughter in Thyolo

Police in Thyolo have arrested a 41-year-old-man Ndaferanji Ben for allegedly killing his 16-year-old biological daughter, Mary.
Deputy police spokesperson, Rabecca Kashoti, alleged that, Ben, stubbed his daughter on her clavicle on 4 May 2023 at Ngomano village, Traditional Authority Ngomano when the girl attempted to rescue her mother from a fight with the man who was drunk.
However, the suspect produced a knife, and stubbed the girl on the left clavicle. She died at Masenjere health centre where she was rushed to for treatment.
The suspect, who is believed to have divorced with the deceased’ mother last year, escaped after the incident before his arrest at Bvumbwe trading centre.
