Govt assures to rehabilitate abandoned infrastructures and projects in education sector

In an effort to improve equity, access and quality education authorities have assured stakeholders that Government is constructing and rehabilitating existing infrastructures and projects that were abandoned by constructors.
Public relationship officer for ministry of education Mphatso Nkuonera has said that the ministry has negotiated with contractors to resume projects that were temporary stalled due to contractual issues.
According to Nkuonera the ministry is happy to note that the contractors are re-mobilizing back to various sites and submitted their claims from the work done.
Nkuonera also add that the ministry is working on imposing deliberate projects like Malawi Education program, Equals, recruiting more role model teachers in primary the project which is on blueprint vision 2063.
