Death has been announced of a second year Medicine and Surgery (MBCHB) Student at Copper-belt University School of Medicine Tsitsi Luyando Nyoni.
Luyando Nyoni died suddenly on Saturday after a short illness, according to the statement seen by this publication.
“CBU School of Medicine has lost a young and vibrant 2nd year Medicine and Surgery (MBCHB) Student, Tsitsi Luyando Nyoni who passed away yesterday evenings, 6th May 2023.
“As an Association, we join the Family and friends of the deceased and the entire CBU community in this trying time. Our prayers are with all of you one Family. May the good Lord who owns all power hold us up today and forever,” reads in part the statement.
Funeral details are still sketchy at the moment.
