One of the advocates for Federal System of Government, Bina Shaba, has died.
Dan Msowoya, a fellow advocate, has described the death as a heavy blow not only to advocates but also to the country.
Msowoya said Shaba was a true patriotic son of Malawi who had a passion to help in changing the current system of government to federal.
According to Msowoya, Shaba died at Mzuzu Central Hospital.
Mzuzu City Civil Society Organisations chairperson Peter Mumba said Shaba was a man of his words who could not be shaken by political threats in his advocacy.
