One of the country’s political analysts Victor Chipofya has expressed concerns over continued lack of interest in addressing national economic challenges over of political ambitions.

The sentiments have been as political parties have started conducting political rallies in preparation for the 2025 presidential election in less than three years after Malawians voted for the president.

Chipofya said there is need for leaders to prioritize the interest of developing the nation over political parties agendas and promoting themselves.

Chipofya added that development and addressing issues is the best way of attracting people to different political parties than conducting development rallies that yields no results at the end of the day.
