Three people have died while another person has sustained injuries following a road accident involving a Toyota Belta and a motorcycle at Lizulu Trade Centre in Ntcheu.
Ntcheu Police spokesperson, Rabecca Ndiwate has confirmed of the accident in an interview with the press, saying the accident happened last night.
According to Ndiwate, the vehicle first collided with a motorcycle which had carried three family members before hitting a male pedestrian in the process.
She said two of the three deceased, are members of the same family, a father and his 11 months-old-child.
Meanwhile, wife to one of the deceased and was on the motorcycle is currently admitted to Dedza District Hospital where she was referred to after sustaining injuries, according to Ndiwate.
