The relocation of assylum seekers by the Ministry of Homeland Security is currently underway in Blantyre.

The refugees are being moved from various locations in the commercial city to Kanjedza Police Training College, from where they will be transferred to Dzaleka Refugee Camp in Dowa.

South West Police Deputy spokesperson Beatrice Mikuwa has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

According to Mikuwa said, 66 refugees have been moved to the training centre.

She said the exercise is going on well and they expect the figure will increase as the operation is continuing.
