Gogo Mlewa To Be Laid To Rest Today In Lilongwe

Scores of people have gathered at Mlewa Village, Traditional Authority Chimutu in Lilongwe to pay their last respect to comedian Gogo Mlewa, who has died at the age of 90.
Gogo Mlewa will be laid to rest this afternoon at a family cemetery beside her late husband, who was a chief.
The comedian, who starred alongside her nephew Yona Kantwera, was also a devout Christian at Kakule Congregation of Church of Central African Presybterian of Nkhoma Synod.
