Former Malawian Boxer Steve Maliko Passes Away After Short Illness

Former Malawian boxer Steve Maliko has passed away today at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Blantyre after a brief illness.
He represented Malawi in various Zone VI amateur Championships and served as a sparring partner for Osgood Kayuni.
Burial is expected to take place tomorrow.
His loss is deeply felt by the boxing community.
