On Sartuday, Police in Balaka arrested 13 people people in a sweeping exercise.
According to Balaka Police publicist, Inspector Gladson M’bumpha, the suspects whose age ranges from 13 to 48 years have been charged with various crimes including offenses likely to cause breach of peace, theft, idle and disorderly.
M’bumpha has warned and emphasized their commitment to ongoing efforts to apprehend suspected criminals and maintain peace in the district.
