Police in Dowa have finally arrested a 30-year-old woman, identified as Susan Ndizo for allegedly dumping her newly born baby in a toilet.

The incident happened last week and the woman was in hiding.

Dowa police station public relations officer Alice Sitima has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

Ndizo will appear in court soon.
