Actor Eric Mabedi’s tombstone to be unveiled on June 25

The unveiling of a tombstone for legendary comedian and actor Eric Mabedi, popularly known as Jakobo, will be held on Sunday June 25, 2023.
Mabedi’s widow Fannie has confirmed the development.
According to Fannie, the ceremony will start with a mass at St Montfort Catholic Parish (C.I) in Blantyre.
Mabedi, who died in 2021, was laid to rest at C.I Cemetery in Blantyre.
Born on June 21 1963, the comedian, actor and playwright, who formed a powerful comedy duo with late John Nyanga popularly known as Izeki, hailed from Thumbwe in Chiradzulu District.
