The Ministry of Home Land and Security has issued a stern warning to individuals involved in mistreating refugees residing in various locations across the country.
This cautionary has been made following recent threats from certain business people intending to forcefully remove refugees from their settlements.
Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Home Land and Security Patrick Botha, has emphasized that only government agencies, such as the police and immigration authorities, have the authority to carry out relocation efforts.
Botha has strongly discouraged any individuals or groups from taking matters into their own hands or interfering with the relocation process.
