police in Zomba is keeping in custody a 30 year old man for suspecting him that he allegedly killed his 81 year old granny.

Public relations Officer for Zomba Police Station Patricia Sipilano, has identified the suspect as Nenenji Wyson.

According to Sipilano, the suspect commit the offense on 18 June 2023 during the night hours when he was coming from a certain drinking joint in the community.

The suspect started beating his grandmother for cooking food he did not like and she end up dead after being beaten severely.

The deceased has been identified as Agness Kazembe and the suspect is expected to appear before court of law very soon to answer murder charges.
