Malawi has talents show, an initiative of First capital bank (FCB) and Times group has unveiled 30 finalists for the show scheduled for Bingu International conference center (BICC) in Lilongwe on 30th July.

Speaking during the unveiling ceremony at Times studios in Blantyre on Wednesday, 21st July.

FCB head of marketing and communication Twikale Chirwa stated that they partnered with Times group for the initiative.

To unearth talent and also to expose 60 percent of the country’s population, which are the youths to a commercially viable using their talents.

Chirwa was optimistic that more talents will be registered in the upcoming seasons 2 and 3 respectively.

In his remarks, Times group sales manager Alfred Kanjere.

Said that the idea was conceived to create a platform for talents that are hidden in localities for exposure.

Kanjere observed that creative industry can bring a lot of money in, if it is well nurtured.

All the finalists will be groomed and trained before going for the live elimination show on 30th July.

FCB pumped in MK 40 million for Malawi has talents season 1 and some of the talents showcased in the competition are dancing, singing and Aerobics.
