The body of late Traditional Authority (TA) Kapondo will be laid to rest today, 26th June, 2023 at Mponda Headquarters in Mchinji.
The ceremony started at around 9:30 am.
The deceased, born Wickson Thebulo, died at Kamuzu Central Hospital in Lilongwe during the morning hours of Saturday, 24th June, 2023, after a battle with High Blood Pressure and Stroke.
He was born on 11th August, 1952.
He was installed as Sub Traditional Authority (STA) Kapondo in 2000 and was elevated to TA Kapondo in 2002.
He is survived by a wife, seven children and 60 grandchildren.
