Chakwera meets newly appointed Catholic Bishops

President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera held an audience with the newly appointed Catholic Bishops at Kamuzu Palace of Monday.
The two are bishop elect for Zomba diocese, Fr Alfred Chaima and auxiliary bishop elect for Mzuzu diocese Fr Yohane Suzgo Nyirenda.
The two were accompanied by permanent council of Episcopal Conference of Malawi (ECM).
President for ECM permanent Council, Archbishop George Tambala, used the occasion to extend an invitation to the president to attend consecrations of the two bishops-elect on August 5 and August 12 for Mzuzu and Zomba respectively.
Pope Francis appointed the two earlier this month.
