Fire Guts Down Shops At Nkhotakota Boma

Information reaching this publication indicates that fire has gutted some shops at Nkhotakota Boma, destroying items whose value is yet to be quantified.

Luke Madzumbi, one of victims, said the fire, which is believed to have emanated from a socket, has razed down all his garage equipment and was put off by well-wishers before it largely affected some nearby shops.

Meanwhile, law enforcers from Nkhotakota police and Escom officials have arrived at the scene.
