An appeal has gone to government to seriously consider attending to the plight of men in the country.
The appeal has been made by Watson Shawa Executive Director for Men Arise Now.
It follows statistics that have shown that there have been one hundred and sixteen suicide cases, this year, out of which 96 percent involve men.
Meanwhile, Shawa has described the situation as unfortunate saying men continue to top the list of the victims of suicide as in October last year, 55 of 58 victims were men.
According to Shawa, the statistics are just an indication of how the country has failed to tackle issues affecting men.
Shawa also added that this is good time for authorities to seriously attend to the plight of men to reduce the cases.
