Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Vice President for the South Kondwani Nankhumwa is scheduled to hold whistle stop tours in Blantyre this coming Friday.
The tour comes barely weeks after the National Governing Council (NGC) endorsed former President Peter Mutharika as DPP’s torchbearer in the 2025 polls.
According to inside sources, during the tour Nankhumwa is scheduled to comment on the decision by the NGC to endorse Mutharika.
Nankhumwa is expected to be accompanied by several DPP Members of Parliament.
The opposition DPP is currently in leadership crisis with some top officials being against the endorsement of Mutharika.
