Information sourced by this publication indicates that Blantyre City Council (BCC) Director of Health and Social Services Dr. Emmanuel Kanjunjunju has died of high blood pressure.
BCC Chief Executive Officer Dennis Chinseu has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
According to Chinseu, Kanjunjunju was taken to the hospital in the early hours of yesterday after suffering from high blood pressure.
“On Tuesday he was strong and we knocked off together. It’s sad that he has gone like that. He was humble and hardworking person. We will greatly miss his services,” he said.
