Chinese national Lu Ke, known as Susu has been handed 12 months prison sentence by Principal Resident Magistrate Rodrick Michongwe on the offence of procuring children to take part in entertainment and racially exploiting them.
Susu, who has been in custody for 12 months since July 16 and pleaded guilty to the offence, will now be discharged.
He was accused of recording the children and having them appear in his videos in which they chanted: “I am a black monster and my IQ is low”.
The Court has ordered Susu to leave the country within seven days and to never return to Malawi.
Meanwhile, State Advocate Dzikondiathu Malunda has told the Court the convict has already paid K16 million to the government to be used as compensation to the victims and the other part of the money will be channeled to community social responsibility activities and uplifting the life of school-going children in Njewa in Lilongwe.
