First Capital Bank has appointed Agness Jazza as Chief Executive Officer for the financial institution effective July 21, 2023.
Jazza has made history at the company, being the first woman and first Malawian to head the institution in that position.
According to a statement by the bank’s Chairperson Terence Davidson, Jazza has been with the institution for 25 years.
The statement indicates that she joined the institution immediately after completing her degree studies.
She holds a Master of Business Administration from the Management College of Southern Africa, among other qualifications.
First Capital Bank is a subsidiary of FMB Capital Holdings which is listed on the Malawi Stock Exchange.
