A 25-year-old man has tragically took his own life by hanging himself in a tree near Mpharayanena Nkhoma village, Traditional Authority Kampingo Sibande in Mzimba district.
He has been identified as a Suzgo Mguntha, from Mpharayanena Nkhoma Village, Traditional Authority Kampingo Sibande in the District.
It is reported that, Mguntha left home some weeks ago to unknown destination until on July 25, 2023 when he was found lifeless in a decomposed state by passers-by.
The matter was reported at Eswazini Police Unit who rushed to the scene accompanied by medical personnel from Lunjika Mission Hospital and postmortem conducted revealed that death was due to strangulation.
Police in Mzimba are advising people in the district to find better ways of solving their problems instead of terminating own lives.
