A 22 year old woman has been arrested for allegedly having a hand on the death of a 12 year old girl identified as Mwai Phiri.
The body of the girl was found in one of the rooms at Orama Guest House on July 24, 2023 around 8:30 pm.
Thyolo Police Deputy Public Relations Officer, Rabecca Kashoti has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
According to Kashoti, the suspect identified as Chikondi Samera coxed the deceased to accompany to a resthouse at the boma.
While there, it is said that Samera stabbed her sister to death.
The suspect will appear in court soon to answer murder charges.
