President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has arrived back home from Dar Es Salaam in Tanzania where he attended a two day Human Capital Development Summit.
At the World Bank funded Summit, leaders and technocrats shared notes on solutions on unleashing African States on a path to development.
On the sidelines of the inaugural meeting, Dr Chakwera also held talks with World Bank Vice President for Southern and Eastern Africa, Victoria Akwakwa.
Speaking upon arrival, he said the World Bank reaffirmed to continue supporting Malawi, in attaining her development goals.
Vice President Dr. Saulos Klaus Chilima led Government officials and traditional leaders in welcoming the Malawi leader at the Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe.
